This course will immerse students in the world of Healthcare. Expanding on the principles of human physiology through access to current medical professionals, up to date research, and hands-on experiences within the field of Healthcare. They will develop fluency in basic medical language, work closely with patients, and practice physical assessment skills and other medical treatments under the guidance of medical and health professionals. Students will be exposed to hospital administration principles, as well as marketing, public relations, and other concepts applied to healthcare management. Students will apply knowledge to real-world problems facing medicine, health and wellness companies. The development of professional soft skills will be a focus throughout the year. Dual credit will be offered through Crowder College.
